The Riviera Hotel & Casino is going virtual

The Las Vegas Strip’s only bingo room is going virtual.

The Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vagas has gone into partnership with Buffalo Studios which is the company behind the Facebook game Bingo Blitz. This is hoped to help attract new customers as well as expand into the world of online gaming.

Bingo Blitz players are now able to play bingo on a webpage containing an image of the Riviera and players will be entered to win a free trip to attend the Riviera’s twice-yearly $200,000 bingo tournament.

Last year the Riviera decided to bring bingo back to the Las Vegas Strip last year, to help its struggaling business, but a month after reopening its bingo room in last August, The Riviera sold its casino in Black Hawk, Colo., for $76 million.
